Fawncy Rats with Honey Beige Fur

CLARA

      RSCL Clara is from Rattie Rascals Rattery.  Although a very beautiful and personable dumbo fawn velveteen, Clara has had no interest in associating with other rats, only with humans. So, she has a rather luxurious cage all to herself and goes to work with Kim.  There is a dollhouse on a ledge at Kim's office and Clara has taken it to be her own.  She has furnished the rooms with paper, pencils, and a store of food, of course, and sleeps there all day. It is really funny to watch her go up and down the stairs. She does prefer to sleep in the upstairs bedrooms or the attic.  Clara also will occasionally imitate Santa's reindeers and climb up on the roof.  Interestingly, she has never chewed the wooden dollhouse itself- it is almost as though she knows that would not be respectful of her beautiful home. 

      We had high hopes that Clara would have beautiful fawntastic babies, but, much to their dismay, she refused all of her male suitors.

     MMDR Do is a dwarf dumbo fawn doe. She traveled to Canada for the BC Show last summer and won Best of Show Kitten and then won Best of Show Reserve in the Fall.  In addition to her admirable show record, she has been a mother twice: the DoReMi Litter and a new all fawn litter born on May 22. 

      RRLM Green Bean came to us all the way from California.  He is Scion's cagemate. Scion and Green Bean also make frequent trips to the office.  People enjoy meeting this cute, but unlikely pair - the standard and the dwarf. 

      Green Bean, a berkshire fawn,  has been the sire of three litters.  Two are all fawn, so are the first two litters of Fawntasia. Do is the mother of one litter and Dr. Jennifer Malfi is the mother of the other.

Dr Jennifer Malfi

      MMDR Dr Jennifer Malfi is a dumbo fawn. Her mom is Deuces are Wild from the Wild Card Litter and her father is Do's brother.  Dr. Jen has her office in one of the doe cages and like her namesake, helps the other rats work out their issues. She tends to be a bit on the obsessive/compulsive side herself, always wanting her babies to be in the right place and making sure they are safe.  Her first litter of nine fawns was born on May 11, 2007.
